Take note, conservatives! This is happening to one of your own!
We're sending out a huge congratulations to Dick Cheney and his whole family as his daughter Mary Cheney just married her longtime partner Heather Poe on Friday morning!!
After the happy nuptials were over, Mary shared with the press her delighted sentiments, saying:
"Very happy to announce that as of this morning, Heather and I are legally married (at least in DC). 20 years to the day after our first date."
We're so so happy for the couple!
Despite being a conservative republican, Dick has endorsed same sex marriage in 2009 … and look how much stronger its made his family!
And guess what, all you other conservative republicans who haven't: now he has a wonderfully wedded daughter â€" and a brand new daughter in law!
Sounds like a happy family to us, and nobody got hurt in the process!
Imagine that!
