A select group of 176 actors, filmmakers, producers, publicists and writers have just been asked to join The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the body behind voting for the Oscars.
Among them, Magic Mike star Matthew McConaughey, The Help's Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain and Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston. Some of Spencer's fellow Oscars 2012 class are also on the list, including Jonah Hill, Melissa McCarthy, Janet McTeer and Demian Bichir.
