'The Voice': Commence the semifinals

'The Voice': Commence the semifinals

America's votes will be combined with the coaches' unreleased scores to determine which four make it to next week's finals. Results are announced Tuesday (9ET/PT).

Team Adam

Former Mouseketeer Tony Lucca suited up for a slick performance of How You Like Me Now. Blake didn't know the song, but was glad about it. "That's the version that I would like," he said. Christina approved of the song choice and the dance moves. "I saw some footwork in there รข€¦ fun." CeeLo said the performance made him a new Tony fan, and Adam called the song "the perfect thing at the perfect moment."

Katrina Parker, who was in the bottom two twice, sang Killing Me Softly. Blake complimented Katrina on her "awesome tone" and Christina said, "I've fallen in love with you," but said she would have coached Katr ina through the song differently. CeeLo and Adam agreed that Katrina had an original rendition of the song. "You didn't sound like Lauryn Hill, you sounded like Katrina Parker," said Adam.

Team Blake

Powerhouse Erin Willett sang a slowed-down version of Without You while thinking of her father, who died of cancer during the show's battle rounds in March. Christina was happy to see Erin get emotionally involved with the song that was "unique and original." CeeLo liked the performance, and Blake said "I would give anything to have a tenth of the talent that you have."

Former Alicia Keys backup singer Jermaine Paul belted Open Arms. Adam said, "You are no longer a background singer." Christina agreed: "You killed it." CeeLo called the performance "wonderful," and Blake said Jermaine was a clear frontrunner.

Team Christina

Chris Mann showed off his opera background with a performance of Ave Maria, surrounded by smoke and candles. "Your voice is so powerful; so pure. It's perfect," said CeeLo. Adam called the song "incredible," and Christina said, "I just felt the heavens open up just now."

Bartender Lindsey Pavao, guitar in hand, sang Skinny Love. Blake and Christina were happy to see Lindsey return to the indie-rock style she started the show with. CeeLo thought she sounded best when she got close to the mike. "Incredible job," said Adam.

Team CeeLo

Recovering drug addict Jamar Rogers had his most laid-back performance with If You Don't Know Me By Now. "I love what you do," said Adam. Blake and Christina applauded Jamar for hitting a surprising low note at the end of his song. "I got motivated to start singing," Christina said. CeeLo called Jamar a "success story."

Rocker Juliet Simms sang It's a Man's World to a roaring audience. "That was unbelievable. You're the one to beat," said Adam. CeeLo yelled, "You killed it! You murdered that record!"

And there were some more performances:

Singers from Team Adam and Team CeeLo joined forces to sing All These Things That I've Done. Not to be outdone, Team Christina and Team Blake came together to sing Edge of Glory. Coach Blake Shelton also took th e stage with his new single Over.
